Two years keeping Inform's 2,400-product catalogue consistent

Inform

Inform sells design furniture through a Craft Commerce storefront and runs the business in NetSuite. Between the two sit 2,400 products, thousands of variants, and more than 20,000 images. Nexbea has kept both sides agreeing since 2024, and no order has been entered by hand since.

One catalogue, two systems

A single chair at Inform can come in four finishes and two heights. On the website, it is a product with variants and photos. In NetSuite, it is items, prices, and stock. The same chair exists in both systems, and so does every other product: 2,400 of them, with three to five variants each and more than twenty thousand images.

Keeping the two sides aligned by hand is not a task, it is a department. And every order placed on the site still had to become a NetSuite sales order, correct down to the line item, before anyone could take anything off a shelf.

What we built

Nexbea keeps the two systems agreeing. An order becomes a NetSuite sales order the moment it is placed, with totals, taxes, discounts, and addresses intact. Each order links directly to its NetSuite counterpart, so staff move between the systems in one click. Customer records stay current on both sides. The catalogue, variants and images included, stays one catalogue.

Two quiet years

Nexbea has run here since 2024, longer than anywhere else. Every sync is monitored, and every change is tested against real data before it touches a live order. In two years, no order has been entered by hand and the catalogue has not drifted apart.

It is the least dramatic story we have, and that is the point. The integration that works is the one nobody has to talk about. Inform is now moving onto the Nexbea platform itself, the same one every new client runs on, built from what these two years taught us.

Nexbea has kept our catalogue, customers, and orders in sync with NetSuite for two years. It is the part of our operations we think about least. When something changes on our side, we say so, and it gets handled.

I have never had to assign a developer to this. Craft and NetSuite keep changing, APIs update, and it is all handled before we would even notice. Two years and twenty thousand images in, I have stopped checking whether the two systems agree. They just do.
